In 2010 Colorado Collaborative for Nonprofits was chosen as one of the first cohorts of the  Denver Shared Space Project.  Cohort members- Colorado Nonprofit Association, Colorado Nonprofit Insurance Agency, Colorado Nonprofit Development Center, Community Resource Center, Community Shares of Colorado, and Metro Volunteers - met regularly for two years to identify shared space needs and potential for program and mission collaboration. Based on those discussions the cohort located an office at 789 Sherman Street with open office space on the second floor and a first floor training center.
