Partners of the month
Outstanding Member Agency
Clínica Tepeyac
This month marks the one year anniversary for
Clínica Tepeyac's new location at 5075 Lincoln Street. In the first
year since expansion,
Clínica has doubled the number of patients through their door and added
four new volunteer doctors to meet the increase.
Clínica
has also expanded their services to include a colorectal cancer program
and a mental health program.
In November, they added
a pre-natal program, delivering 15 newborns in the first month. Each
year Clínica Tepeyac employees generously donate back to the community
by running their own employee giving program. Executive Director David
Lack also volunteers his time for the Community Shares Board. We are
proud to honor Clínica Tepeyac as an outstanding member agency!
Outstanding Workplace
Boulder County Government
Over the last 3 years, Boulder County Government employees have
contributed over $75,000 to Community Shares agencies - each year's
donations exceeding the last. This December they look to continue that
trend as 2007 pledges will bring a 10% increase in dollars for 2008.
Boulder County Government is guided by core values to respect diversity
and build on the strengths of individual employees, the organization and
the community. The County honors the past and sustains and improves the
quality of life for present and future generations. These values shine
through in their philanthropy and make them a truly outstanding
workplace.
