3rd annual
Credit union harvest run highlights!
The 2006 Credit Union Harvest Run
Your Race. Your Community. Your Credit Unions.
Over 275 runners, walkers and families
joined Community Shares and the Credit Unions of Boulder County for the
2006 Harvest Run. This year’s 5K run and walk was characterized by
great energy, lots of sunshine and incredible give-aways. Before and
after the race, participants enjoyed the vendor expo with booths from
companies
such as Rainbow Rewards, Automotive Avenues, Eco-Cycle, Colorado
Preservation, and many more. The Humane Society of Boulder Valley
brought dogs and cats available for adoption. Mascots from the new
Broomfield Event Center were present as well.
A cooperative effort of five local credit unions, BME Federal Credit
Union, BoulderValley Credit Union, Elevations Credit Union, Premier
Members Federal Credit Union and St. Vrain Valley Credit Union, the
Harvest Run exhibits the generosity, collaborative spirit and the local
focus of Credit Unions. Community Shares congratulates the winners of
the run and thanks everyone involved.
In the Community

community-based, grassroots organization and today is one of the oldest
